Remarks:
-
This list includes all World Records established in Military Pentathlon since the modification of the point system in 1965.
-
The points given in bold are the original established records, whereas the points in the second column have been
adapted to the actual point system. (valid since 1980)
-
Due to the change in throwing in 1980, for reasons of comparison the adapted results are not always the best
performances established in the years 1965 to 1979 based on the actual point system.
-
From 1965 to 1972 the distance throw was measured in centimetres and immediately converted into
pentathlon points. Therefore the total results are given in 1/100 of a pentathlon point.
Since 1973 the distance measured in centimetres is rounded to decimetres.
-
In 1980 the base performance for 1000 pentathlon points has been changed from 180 throwing points
to 170 throwing points and the point increment from ± 6 pentathlon points to ± 4 pentathlon points.
